Counselor Notice

This is a reminder to ALL students on ‘how to sign up to see your school counselor.’ If your school counselor is not in their office or their office door is closed, please SIGN UP to see them. There are green sign up slips and pens on the round table in the counseling center lobby area. If it is an emergency or your school counselor is absent, please see the present counselor or please report to the office. Thank you.

Faculty-Frosh Game

The Faculty-Freshman Basketball game will be played TOMORROW at 2:00. We will have shortened classes (we will follow the pep assembly schedule.) However, the players and cheerleaders will be dismissed at 1:35, the students will be dismissed at 1:55, and the game will start at 2:00. The Faculty will wear green or dark green colors and the Freshman will wear white or light colors. We will play 10 minute running quarters, one minute quarter break, and a 5 minute halftime. The game will be coed this year. In the first and third quarters, the teams will have 3 female players and 2 male players on the court and during the second and fourth the teams will have 2 female and 3 male players on the court.

Sac Green at Jenifer Blue at 5:15. Bus at 4:30.

Sac Gold at Jenifer Red at 6:15. Bus at 4:30.

Fundraiser for Paradise!

FRIDAY is Hat Day as a fundraiser for the relief efforts in Paradise, California. This fundraiser is in support of the many students who lost their school in the Paradise fire. To wear your hat, bring at least $1.00 to your first hour teacher. You will then be given a sticker to place on your hat that shows you have donated.

Another opportunity to donate. "Wednesday Paradise Bucks". NEXT Wednesday, If you bring $2.00 to Mrs. Kluss, you will receive a $1.00 coupon to use at our book fair. This fundraiser will run each Wednesday thru March 6th.

Our goal is to raise at least $1500.00 from both fundraisers. Support is needed from all of you to help reach that goal. The winning first hour will also get a treat!


LHS Baseball - LHS Softball -- LHS Track -- LHS Tennis

If you are interested in trying out for LHS Baseball, practice begins this friday at Airport Park at 3:30. Ride Shuttle 2 to Airport Park--Leaves Sac (Front of Gym at 3:25pm. No return bus. All paperwork must be completed and turned in to Tennis coach at the time of tryouts, which include Physical, Athletic Questionaire, Concussion Guidelines, Pay to Participate and fee.

If you are interested in trying out for LHS Tennis, practice begins Friday at LHS Tennis Courts right after school. Ride route 20 to LHS--Leaves Sac (Front of school at 3:00pm sharp). No return bus. All paperwork must be completed and turned in to Tennis coach at the time of tryouts, which include Physical, Athletic Questionaire, Concussion Guidelines, Pay to Participate and fee.


Scoliosis Screening--8th grade only

Scoliosis screening for 8th graders will be done next Wednesday, February 27th. You will receive information today during last hour to take home to yhour parents. If your parents choose to not have you screened, parents must complete the bottom portion of the letter and return to the office by Wednesday, February 27th.
