There is no shame in not knowing. The shame lies in not finding out - Assyrian proverb

If you want to buy a yearbook, you can purchase one now from the office. Yearbooks are $22.00. Don’t be left without one in May when it is time for the signing party. A limited number are ordered, and when they are gone, they are gone.

If you have a birthday in June, July, or August, come to the office for a treat.

Hats on Day will be Friday, May 25th. We will be raising money for the family of Natasha Goode. She is a JJH student that was severely injured in a bike accident recently. She is still in the Hospital in Spokane. Then they will move her to a skilled Rehab facility where she will get the help she needs to re-learn her basic skills like walking, talking, and taking care of herself. You can help by bringing a donation and wearing your favorite hat. Let's show Natasha's family the JJH love.

See flyer in front of the office for more information.

The Lost and Found bins at the Cafeteria, PE Locker rooms, and at the Main building are over flowing. Please make sure you check the Lost and Found for missing items. All remaining items will be donated at the end of the school year.

Appropriate Dress: As the weather gets warmer students are reminded of the dress code policy: Shorts and skirts are to be finger-tip in length (mid-thigh is a good rule). Shirts must have straps that are at least four fingers wide. Also clothing that refers to gangs, drugs, alcohol/tobacco, sex and violence or that contains innuendos referring to these are not allowed. Use good judgment when dressing for school.

Lockers: Now is the time to start looking at the stuff in your locker. If you have extra clothing items, shoes, and supplies you won’t be using through the end of the year, start taking it home. This will save you from taking a heavy load after locker clean out day.

Outstanding balances on meal accounts must be paid in full by June 1st. Please check your cafeteria balance frequently and bring money to cover any charges.

Football summer weights and conditioning schedules; pick one up at the magazine rack by the office or from coach Renzelman (no cost) Bengal Football camp for 9th-12th grade, June 11-15th, 8am-11am at Vollmer bowl ($20 cost). Last day: There will be no need for backpacks or bags on the last day of school. Please leave them at home. If you do bring a backpack or bag, they will be in the office until dismissal.

Behavior Reminder: Actions, behaviors or items that disrupt the educational process are not to take place. Students may be suspended for disrupting the school day. Suspensions could be extended to the summer (Ex. Drivers education, sport camps, etc.) and extend to the fall (late registration, athletic practices, etc.).

Attending your final exams during the last two days of school is very important. Exams not taken on either of the last two days of school will require the student to come back during the first two weeks of summer to take exams. Finals cannot be taken early for any reason!
