Girls’ Basketball open gym, Sundays 3:30-5 PM and Tuesdays 5-7, Booth Hall. All girls basketball players welcome!
If you want to buy a yearbook, you can purchase one now from the office. Yearbooks are $22.00. Don’t be left without one in May when it is time for the signing party. A limited number are ordered, and when they are gone, they are gone.
Appropriate Dress: As the weather gets warmer students are reminded of the dress code policy: Shorts and skirts are to be finger-tip in length (mid-thigh is a good rule). Shirts must have straps that are at least four fingers wide. Also clothing that refers to gangs, drugs, alcohol/tobacco, sex and violence or that contains innuendos referring to these are not allowed. Use good judgment when dressing for school.
Outstanding balances on meal accounts must be paid in full by June 4th. Please check your cafeteria balance frequently and bring money to cover any charges.
LOST AND FOUND:
The Lost and Found bins at the Cafeteria, PE Locker rooms, and at the Main building are over flowing. Please make sure you check the Lost and Found for missing items. All remaining items will be donated at the end of the school year.
JJH Cheer tryouts are scheduled for May 21st thru 24th!
If you’re looking to join a team of hardworking athletes, that become family, consider trying out for the 2019/2020 cheerleading team. We are looking for hardworking boys and girls who are dedicated to helping others, getting good grades and setting a good example for your school and community.

7TH GRADE STUDENTS:
7th Grade Football Players turning out for 8th Grade Football this fall: Gear handout will happen August 7th from 8 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. during 8th grade class registration. Each player will need to hand in a new Health Questionnaire and Pay to Participate form to receive gear. Practice will begin Monday, August 19th from 3:30-5:30. See Mr. Ulrich if you have any questions.
Be sure to visit the Lewiston City Library this summer for all the great teen activities! Please remember any books you have checked out from the Jenifer Library, with a due date that is after summer vacation starts, will need to be returned to the city library. Keep reading and keep exploring!
Stop by the library and find out about our JJH Summer Reading Program. You can check out books for the entire summer! Jenifer books won’t be due until you return to school in August.

The LHS Track and Field Awards Banquet will be held in the LHS Auditorium Wednesday, May 29th. Start time is 6:30pm. Submit community service hours to Coach Stuffle prior to the meeting. If uniforms have not been returned, please bring them to the meeting.
Kindness Club will be selling colored gel pens for the yearbook signing. You can purchase pens for $1 in the foyer before school on Thursday the 30th.

If you were a 9th grade Student of the Week anytime during 2nd Semester, there will be a Pizza Party for you Thursday, May 30th in room 103 during lunch.
Attending your final exams during the last two days of school is very important. Exams not taken on either of the last two days of school will require the student to come back during the first two weeks of summer to take exams. Finals cannot be taken early for any reason!
Lockers: Now is the time to start looking at the stuff in your locker. If you have extra clothing items, shoes, and supplies you won’t be using through the end of the year, start taking it home. This will save you from taking a heavy load after locker clean out day.
Behavior Reminder: Actions, behaviors or items that disrupt the educational process are not to take place. Students may be suspended for disrupting the school day. Suspensions could be extended to the summer (Ex. Drivers education, sport camps, etc.) and extend to the fall (late registration, athletic practices, etc.).
Last day: There will be no need for backpacks or bags on the last day of school. Please leave them at home. If you do bring a backpack or bag, they will be in the office until dismissal.
7/8 Track Athletes, don't forget! Awards are Wed. May 29, 4:00 in the gym. Talk to Coach Davenport or Kadau if you cannot attend. Also, if you have not turned in your sweats and uniforms please do so ASAP!
